THE COMMUNION CONCEPT

Free

Holy Communion is far more than a Christian ritual; it is a spiritual practice designed to deepen believers' understanding of Jesus Christ and the purpose of His death. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 11, communion is a time to remember who Jesus is - the fullness of God revealed in human form, the source of life, light, and redemption—and to reflect on the benefits of His sacrifice. Through His death and resurrection, believers receive forgiveness of sins, redemption from the consequences of sin, newness of life, authority in His name, oneness with Christ, and eternal life. Communion should be observed with intentional meditation, faith, and heartfelt confession of God's promises rather than as a mere religious tradition. By regularly remembering Christ and declaring the truths of His finished work, believers strengthen their faith, experience spiritual transformation, and walk in the victory, power, and realities secured through Jesus' sacrifice.
